About the project

Craques da Vida is a social project focused on the development of children, youth, and adults through sports and cultural activities. The goal is to use soccer as a tool for social inclusion, providing educational support and workshops to combat inequality and strengthen participants' self-esteem, creating an environment of transformation and mutual support within the community.

The goal of this project was the complete development of the website for the Craques da Vida social project, using PHP, WordPress, and Elementor. After taking over the project, still in its early stages, I was solely responsible for all stages, from design to implementing functionalities, ensuring a smooth and accessible experience for users, aligned with the platform's social objectives.

Desafios e aprendizados

Developing the Craques da Vida website was an interesting challenge that involved not only understanding the identity of the NGO and its needs for the site but also actively participating as a volunteer. When taking over the project after someone else had started it, I had to align the initial vision with the goal of creating a functional and representative platform.

Being a volunteer taught me about the importance of collaborative work and social impact. As a volunteer, I not only had the responsibility to deliver a functional project but also to contribute to a greater cause, helping the NGO reach more people and strengthen its mission.

More than just a technical project, it was an opportunity to contribute to a relevant social cause and to realize the impact that collaborative work can have on a community.
